This page shows an overview of all current default notifications, as well as giving you the option to create new default notifications and edit or delete existing ones. These notifications can concern a number of actions, such as notifying you about contracts that will be ending soon.
Do you want to set up contract-specific notifications? This can be done with the relevant contract in the Contracts module. Vendor-specific notifications can be set at the relevant vendor in the Vendors module.
While adding or editing a notification, there are various properties that you can define. The meaning of each characteristic is explained in the table below.
Field | Description |
Notification active | This determines if the notification is active. If this checkbox isn't marked, the notification will not be triggered. |
Number of periods | The amount of times the selected option in the 'Period' field. |
Period | The period type (day, week, month etc.) |
Notification type | Het soort notificatie (bijv. einde van contract). |
Mail to users (contract managers) | Determines if a notification is also sent to the contract manager, if applicable. |
Default recipient | The selected default recipient will always receive the notification. |
Subject e-mail | The subject of the notification e-mail. |
Description e-mail | The content (body) of the notification e-mail. |

A notification to the vendor manager/contract manager on the end date of a vendor document/contract document. The settings in the fields 'Number of periods', 'Period' and 'Mail to contract managers' have no effect. The fields 'Email subject' and 'Email description' are mandatory. |
