New
Tasks - task overview performance improvement
The loading time of the overall task overview has been improved, particularly in environments with a large number of tasks. The overview is now built more quickly, including when filtering all tasks.
This adjustment ensures noticeably faster and smoother operation of the task overview in environments with many task records.
Authorisation labels correctly applied to task overview
Authorisation labels configured at vendor or contract level will now also be correctly applied to the visibility of linked tasks in the overall task overview. A task is visible if the user has authorisation for the linked contract, or – if no contract is linked – for the linked vendor. Tasks assigned to the user themselves will always remain visible, regardless of the authorisation labels.
This adjustment ensures that the task overview consistently respects the configured authorisation rules, improving data security within organisations with multiple departments.
Recurring tasks - cancelled tasks identifiable in overview
Overviews of recurring tasks will now include a column indicating whether a recurring task has been cancelled. The column is hidden by default and can be enabled via the column selector. For a cancelled recurring task, the next creation date is no longer displayed.
This adjustment makes it easier to see at a glance which recurring tasks are still active and which have been stopped.

Fixed an issue where tasks automatically created from a contract end-date notification always received the status 'Later', regardless of the execution date. These tasks now receive the correct status immediately upon creation.
Fixed an issue where changing a translation for one language was also applied to all other languages without their own customised translation. Translations are now correctly applied per language.
Fixed an issue where emails sent via a Microsoft Graph connection were no longer saved in the Sent Items folder of the customer environment. Sent emails are now saved correctly again.
Contracts
New
nextAI - available in draft contracts
The nextAI button, which automatically extracts contract data, was previously only available when creating a new contract and in active contracts. The button is now also available on the details tab of draft contracts.
This adjustment makes it possible to use automatic data extraction via nextAI for draft contracts as well, without first having to activate the contract.

Fixed an issue where a deleted exception to a standard term was still treated as active during a T&C analysis. Exceptions are now always based on the current state of the management table.
Fixed an issue where the search field in the question library of a sourcing process only became visible after being clicked. The search field is now visible by default.
Procurement Value Management
New
Reopen closed event
An event that had been closed after completing a workflow could not previously be edited. A user with the Value Management Manager role can now reopen a closed event via a button in the event header, after confirmation in a dialogue box. After reopening, the event can be edited again, the previous workflow information is displayed under the 'History' tab, and the event can be sent through a workflow again to close it.
This adjustment makes it possible to correct errors in previously recorded event results without having to create a new event.
Vendors
New
Bank details deleted when deleting vendor
When a vendor is deleted, either via the application or via the API, the associated bank account details, assessment data and linked categories will now also be deleted. Previously, this data remained in the underlying data after a vendor was deleted.
This adjustment ensures the complete and consistent deletion of vendor data, contributing to a clean and up-to-date dataset.
Fixes
Description
---
Fixed an issue where the product overview on the Supplier Portal could be empty in certain cases. The overview now always displays the correct products for the relevant vendor.
Fixed an issue where the 'Vendor creation' notification was no longer sent to the configured default recipient when creating a new vendor. The notification is now sent correctly again.
Fixed an issue where documents linked to a checklist item were not deleted when the checklist item itself was deleted from the vendor. Linked documents are now also deleted.
Various improvements have been made to the Vendors API to prevent unnecessary blocks during bulk processing: an error involving one duplicate value no longer interrupts the entire process, and updating a vendor no longer deletes existing data that was not included in the update request.
Fixed an issue where displaying the vendor assessment history for customers with a quarterly period resulted in an error message. The history is now displayed correctly for all assessment periods.
Fixed an issue where exporting an information request survey resulted in an error message and did not generate a file. Exporting now works correctly again.

New
Budget check after changing purchase requisition, purchase order or invoice
When a line on a purchase requisition, purchase order or invoice is changed or added (for example, a change to the price, quantity, company, vendor, dimensions or contract), the processing button will now be temporarily disabled until the change has been saved. After saving, the system immediately performs an up-to-date budget check. If no response is received from the budget check, for example due to a temporary connection issue, the user can still proceed with processing after saving.
This adjustment ensures that budget data is always up to date after a change before a document is processed further, without temporary connection issues blocking the process.
AP Automation
New
nextAI - more efficient processing of PDF documents
The way in which nextAI recognises text from PDF invoices has been improved. The system now automatically recognises whether a document contains text layers, images or a combination of both, and adapts the processing accordingly. Image recognition is now only applied where it is actually needed, and previous recognition results are reused for similar documents from the same vendor.
This adjustment ensures faster invoice processing via nextAI, particularly for text-based PDF documents.
Alternative exchange rate can be entered manually
When posting an invoice in a foreign currency, an alternative exchange rate can now be entered or overwritten manually when this functionality is enabled for the environment. The entered rate is sent to the ERP system for posting in the local currency and does not affect the euro value used for approval routing.
This adjustment makes it possible to comply with local legal requirements under which invoices must be posted using the exact exchange rate stated on the vendor invoice.
nextAI - VAT allocation in header for split invoice
When an invoice contains multiple VAT rates, nextAI will now also recognise them correctly at header level. Previously, when multiple VAT rates were recognised on the lines, only the first rate found was applied to the header, resulting in an incorrect VAT allocation.
This adjustment ensures more accurate automatic recognition of invoices with multiple VAT rates, reducing manual corrections.
Customer-managed VAT mappings
VAT mappings, which are used to post and export invoices correctly to the ERP system, can now be managed independently using the permission: invoice:can_edit_vat_mappings
Users with this authorisation can view, create and edit VAT mappings via the designated management page, without intervention from ISPnext.
This adjustment gives customers greater independence in managing VAT configuration, making changes to ERP mappings quicker to implement.

Improved display of audit information for split invoice lines
The audit icon indicating whether an invoice line has been split is now retrieved and displayed more efficiently for invoices with many lines. The icon is now also visible in both the classic and the updated invoice view and in Procurement, and displays a clear message when no audit data is available.
This adjustment ensures faster display of invoices with many lines and logistics lines, and makes the audit information visible more consistently.
Fixes
Description
---
Fixed an issue where recognition patterns for vendor data in invoices were limited to a fixed set. Recognition patterns can now be managed, allowing more variants to be recognised and templates to be found automatically more often.
Fixed an issue where the button for reloading the document in invoice processing disappeared when the view was enabled on a second monitor. The button remains visible and clickable.
Fixed an issue where payment terms were not refreshed when switching between invoices in the updated invoice view, potentially displaying outdated data. Payment terms are now always retrieved for the correct invoice.
Fixed an issue where deliberately deselected purchase order lines were still included in the accrual report, causing the amount to be accrued to be displayed too high. Deselected lines are now excluded from the report.
Fixed an issue where it was no longer possible to select text in a PDF document when the 'Show/hide text layer' option was enabled. Text can now be selected again.
Procurement
New
Default item category configurable in user settings
Users can now set a default item category per company in their user settings under Procurement. This default category is automatically pre-filled when creating a new line on a purchase requisition and can still be adjusted per line.
This adjustment saves time for users who repeatedly use the same item category on free-text purchase requisitions, as it no longer needs to be entered again for each line.
Fixes
Description
---
Fixed an issue where, when importing item categories, linked master data such as VAT, tax group and base country was not correctly filtered by company, which could result in incorrect links. The import now correctly filters this data by company.
Fixed an issue where a line added to a purchase requisition, saved and then deleted without refreshing the page was not actually deleted. Lines can now be deleted correctly immediately after saving.
Fixed an issue where the 'Replace shopping cart' option for an Excel or AI import only replaced the lines and not the header data such as attachments, route and delivery location. With this option, the shopping cart is now replaced in full, including header data.
