Maintenance Mode temporarily βfreezesβ the application to block changes and integrations during maintenance or fixed time periods.
π Access
Only users with: admin:can_edit_maintenance_mode
Can:
- Set maintenance
- Activate/deactivate maintenance
- Log in during maintenance (limited access)

β Allowed
- View data (read-only)
- Approve workflows (unless login is blocked)
β Not allowed
- Edit data
- Import/export (ERP)
- Process mailbox & e-invoices

Navigation:Setup β Maintenance Mode
Type
- Once β one-time (start/end time)
- Recurring β fixed days + time blocks
Mandatory
- Description (free text)
- Start date/time
Optional settings
- Block login
- This causes all active sessions to terminate
Default blocks
- Mailbox
- E-invoices
- Import interfaces
- Export interfaces

- 1 hour beforehand
- Then: 30, 15, 10, 5, 1 minute
π€ User behaviour
During maintenance
- Read-only access (unless login blocked)
- Pop-up notification visible
- Editing not possible
Login
- Start/end time visible
- If login blocked β no access
- Admin can always log in (maintenance screen only)

During maintenance:
- β No ERP transactions
- β No imports/exports
- β No backend tasks
