A free request is started directly via the free request menu. In essence, a free request is a purchase request without an underlying catalog or web store. These can be started via →
Field | Function |

Product name | This is the product name of what you would like to request. This is equivalent to the 'Item number' field of the articles from the catalog. |
Article group | The article group is the group to which the product belongs. This can be, for example, 'Office supplies' or 'Company equipment'. The article group also determines the category manager and the coding. It's not mandatory so if you don't know it can be left blank to leave the selection to a general category manager. |
Description | This is a more extensive description of the article that is requested and can be entered freely. This is equivalent to the 'Description' field of the articles from the catalog. |
Unit of Measure | The unit of the product. Think of pieces, kilos, hours, etc. |
Vendor | If the vendor is already known, it can be indicated in this field which supplier offers the article. |
Payment term | If the payment term is already known, it can be indicated in this field which payment term the free request has for this vendor. |
Delivery date | The (expected) delivery date of the item. |
Frequency |
If this request should become frequent/ recurring it is possible to set this up under 'Frequency'. It is possible to choose from the following options.

Only when 'Frequency' is filled in more than once. The start date of the frequent request. Note: The start date cannot be before the start date of the posting period that is active at that moment. |
*Recurrence |
Only when 'Frequency' is filled in more than once. The recurrence of the frequent request. |
Price | The price of the product. |
Currency | The currency in which this product is ordered. |
Quantity | The quantity you want to order. |
EAN | The EAN number of the article. |
By clicking the button, the product is added to the shopping cart. Several free requests can be created or the request can be supplemented with articles from the catalog or a web store of your choice. The (complete) application can be resumed
via the →
button. When all desired items have been added, the request can be enriched with an appropriate description of the purchase, the reason for the request, any attachments, the delivery location and comments.
With the button, the request is further created and forwarded to a category manager.
