AP Automation
It is possible to link additional cost lines to logistic lines. The use of linking additional cost lines to logistic lines requires configuration. For more information, please contact ISPnext.
The following options are possible:
- Linking a logistic line to one or more additional cost lines.
- Linking an additional cost line to one or more logistic lines.
When an additional cost line is related to a logistic line it is shown in the layout and only used during:
- Preview routing
- Current advanced routing
From Additional costs
From an additional cost line it is possible to select the logistic line from the dropdown 'Logistic line'. Note that the values are limited to only the selected logistic lines of the concerning invoice.
When not making use of a logistics lines, the field will also not be displayed.
From the Lines
It is possible to add an additional cost line to the logistic lines.
- The line must first be selected.
- Via the
icon the additional cost line can be added.
- If the line is not selected, the action cannot be performed.
Data
When an additional costs line is created, the following data is set/copied. Data not available in logistic lines are given a default value of 0.
| Amount | Taken from the difference amount |
| Company | Taken from the logistic line, if not set in the logistic line then copied from the invoice. |
| VAT (code) | Taken from the logistic line. |
| VAT amount | Calculated from the amount and VAT (code). |
| Dimensions | Copied from the logistic line (For instance: General ledger, cost center and project). |
| Posting date | Copied from the invoice |
| Description | Transferred from the logistic line |
| Transaction type | Depending on the difference amount is determined according to the difference |
| Quantity | Depending on the screen configuration, the quantity receives a default value of 1 or 0. The same also applies to any 'second quantity' |
Logistic line no longer available
When a logistic line is no longer available, but is still linked to a coding line, you will be asked what action may be performed. In this, two choices are available:
- Delete affected coding lines
- Keep coding lines without relation
When using a 'Preview route' for an additional cost line that is linked to no logistic line, the route of the logistic line is searched and displayed. Once the invoice is routed in the sub-flows, the Advanced routes of the logistic line are used.
