The article below pertains to Procure to Pay (P2P) for the following applications and/or module(s):
AP Automation
When the AP Automation, Contract Management and Spend Analytics modules have been acquired, it is possible to link contracts to coding rules via AP Automation. This allows the full contract utilisation to be viewed in both Spend Analytics and Contract Management.
Linking a contract
When coding an invoice, it is possible to link a contract to a coding line. To do this, you must first select the relevant vendor and either add a coding template or create a coding line. If the vendor is not selected, a contract cannot be added.
By clicking the edit icon will open a pop-up window where you can search for the relevant contract.
In the pop-up window, it is possible to search for the contract by name or number using the search bar. Click ‘Search’ to execute the search.
- Selecting a contract will automatically add it to the coding line.
- It is possible to link one contract per coding line
- It is possible to select a different contract or the same one for each coding line.
It is possible to delete a linked contract using the trashcan icon.
Show contract fields in coding lines
If the contract fields are not yet visible, but the modules are set up and the vendor is known in Contract Management, it is possible to show the columns.
Use the 'columns sort menu' to make the fields visible (slide the slider to the right, green) or hide them (slide the slider to the left, grey).
