The 'details' tab contains all kinds of basic information about a contract.This includes the reference number, name and cancellation and extension periods. Imported data is saved automatically. The green lighting of the background confirms the successful entry. When the input is invalid, the background light up red.
This page also contains two essential features.
Activate contract
This function is only available when the contract has the status 'Draft'. The contract is then only visible to the creator of the contract. Through the contract, the contract becomes visible to all users who have be authorized.
Archive a contract
When you archive a contract, the contract is moved from the tab 'Active' to the 'Archive' tab. No more notifications will be sent for this contract. With an archived contract, this button is replaced with a 'Remove contract' button. The contract is thus permanently deleted.
Extend a contract
When you renew a contract, the end date is adjusted based on the extension period you specify. Also, the value in 'number of possible extensions' is adjusted.
Cancel contract
When you cancel a contract, the 'Contract canceled' checkbox is filled in the contract details. In addition, no more notifications will be sent for this contract. Please note: it is no longer possible to remove the 'Contract canceled' status from the contract.

Company | The company that concluded the contract. |
Contract description | A global description for the contract. |
Contract number | A number by which the contract is recognized internally. |
Start date | The date on which the contract takes effect. |
End date | The date the contract expires. |
Silent renewal? |
Contracts where 'Silent renewal?' is activated in the contract details, will be automatically renewed based on the fields 'Number of possible extensions', 'Extension term number' and 'Extension term period'. Contract Managers will also receive an e-mail notification about this automatic renewal. Note: To use this feature, a notification of the type 'Automatic Contract Extension' must be active within 'Contract Notifications'. An email notification will then be sent to the designated person or persons. |
Cancellation date | The date on which the notice period begins. |
Cost center | The cost center to which the contract falls. |
Status | The status of the contract (active, terminated, etc.) |

Project number | The reference number of the linked project. |
Term of notice | The number of times the chosen cancellation period. |
Term notice period | The type of period (day, month, quarter, etc.) |
Number of possible extensions | The number of times this contract can be extended. |
Last date | The final end date of the contract, calculated on the basis of the start date, the notice period and the number of possible extensions. |
Purchase conditions accepted | Indicates whether the purchase terms for this contract have been accepted. |
Number of times renewed | Indicates how many times the contract has been renewed. |
Indexing Information | Indexing information for the contract. |
Exclude from contract compliance | When enabling this feature, this contract is not taken into account when calculating contract compliance. |
Comments | A field for other comments on this contract. |
The number of times the chosen retentionterm period. | |

Deletion date | The deletion date. This is automatically filled at the time of archiving and the setting 'Retention period active' in Admin > Contracts settings > Settings is activated. This date is based on the fields 'Retention period quantity' and 'Retention period period'. If these are empty, the values in the fields 'Default retention term period number' and 'Default retention term period' in Admin > Contracts settings > Settings are used. If these are not filled either, the deletion date will remain empty. |
Cost type | The cost category to which this contract falls. |
