In this tab you will find a number of settings related to authorization at contract level. The tab shows a red border when there is no contract manager and authorization label is linked. When you link a contract manager and authorization label, the red border disappear.
Categories
It is possible to link one or more categories to a contract. When category authorization is activated, users can then only see contracts if the user account is associated with the same category.
Contract Managers
Contract managers oversee contracts and receive important notifications related to their contracts.
When the 'Activate edit function for Contract Managers' feature is enabled, users with 'Contract Management Viewer' and/or 'Contract Management Register' roles can edit contracts they are registered as managers for. They cannot edit other contracts.
To assign a user as 'Contract Manager' for all contracts, link the 'Contract Manager' role to them. This gives limited editing rights for all contracts, but notifications will only be received if the user is registered as a 'Contract Manager' for a specific contract.
Contract authorization labels
Authorization Labels is an authorization layer where you can authorize at the contract level (as opposed to category level in category authorization). The labels you created in the Admin module can be linked to users and to contracts. Users can then only see contracts if they meet one of the labels.
Share contract in Supplier Portal
When there is an active Supplier Portal user for the supplier who linked to the contract, they can log in to the Supplier Portal to view the data in the 'Details' tab, the contract documents (if 'Share in Supplier' Portal' is checked on the document) and the locations in the 'Locations' tab to see.
