KPI overview
This overview lists all available KPIs. KPI stands for Key Performance Indicator. It is a way to analyse important statistics. The table below contains all the terms used in the KPI overview.
| Term | Explanation |
| KPI | The type of KPI. Read here for more about different types of KPIs. |
| Norm | The threshold value for the data coming from this KPI. |
| Cost centre group | The cost centre group to which this KPI is linked. |
| Cost centre | The cost centre to which this KPI is linked. |
| Category | The category to which this KPI is linked. |

Results
The first thing you see on the KPI detail page is an overview of all the results collected by the KPI. The results in this overview naturally vary per KPI. Generally, you will see data about a cost centre, cost centre group, supplier or category, along with the relevant time periods and, for example, a percentage of contract compliance or a number of invoices. This all depends on the KPI settings.
KPI Score
In the KPI score, you see the performance level of the item tracked by the KPI. The green line in the KPI graph indicates the predefined norm. The blue line represents the data collected by the KPI. The example below is a KPI that tracks order-related invoices for a certain department. This makes it easy to see that the performance of this department over the period 05-2017 to 03-2018 is on average above the norm.
Depending on the KPI, other charts or diagrams may also be present in some cases. In the example below, the number of invoices per category is displayed. With a large number of categories, a chart can become very crowded; therefore, it is possible to hide categories in the chart legend by selecting the names.
Suppliers excluded from KPI calculation
You have the option to exclude suppliers from a KPI. Excluded suppliers are not included in the KPI scores. All excluded suppliers are shown in the table under the heading 'Suppliers excluded from KPI calculation' in the KPI details.
Read here how to exclude a supplier from a KPI type.
KPI settings
You can access the KPI settings by clicking 'Edit'.
The overview below provides an explanation of each setting.
| Setting | Explanation |
| KPI | The type of KPI. Read here for more about different types of KPIs. |
| Description | The name of the KPI. This helps you recognise the KPI in the environment. |
| Description in graph | The name you want to give the measurement points in the graph. This name will be shown for each month. |
| Norm | The norm for this KPI. This is the minimum score you want to achieve. |
| Cost centre group | The cost centre group measured by the KPI. |
| Cost centre | The cost centre measured by the KPI. |
| Category | The category measured by the KPI. |
| Cost type | The cost type measured by the KPI. |
| Only controllable Spend | This option makes the calculation based on controllable spend. When a category is selected, this option is ignored because controllability is determined by the category. |
| Graph type | The type of graph that will be shown in the KPI details. |
Additionally, it is possible to display graphs from multiple KPIs in your VendorLink environment together. At the bottom of the KPI settings table, all KPIs currently part of the KPI you are editing are shown.
When adding, you can choose which type of graph you want to use. See the example below, where 'Compliance' (black, another KPI) is shown in the original KPI graph (blue). This way, you can easily compare multiple KPIs.
