Within Admin>Tables>Financial Dimensions various settings can be found that relate to the financial dimensions that can be used in the application.
Settings
Here, free dimensions can be enabled or disabled by checking or unchecking the corresponding free dimension.
Cost Centres
This table displays all cost centres in the ISPnext environment.
Cost centres in Spend come from provided spend data, not from this table.
Changes to names on this page will not be reflected in Spend.
To adjust in Spend, the name in the provided data must be changed.
Cost centres from Spend are automatically added to this overview.
Cost centres also play a role in other ISPnext modules (Contracts); you can link contracts via the contract detail page. This overview allows you to manually manage cost centres.
Cost Centre Groups
In ISPnext, it is possible to group your cost centres. These groups are called cost centre groups and are used to display spend data from grouped cost centres in detail. Cost centre groups are also used to authorise Spend Community* users.
When you have created cost centre groups, go to Admin > Tables > Link Cost Centres to link cost centres to cost centre groups.
Cost Types
This overview displays all cost types in the ISPnext environment, used in the Spend and Contracts modules. Cost types in Spend are automatically added via Spend data. If you do not use Spend, you can manually create and edit cost types here and link them to a contract or contract product.
Cost types can also be linked to countries for use in Spend > Geo.
Cost Units
This overview displays all cost units in the ISPnext environment, used in the Spend modules.
Cost units in Spend are linked via provided Spend data.
