The same M3 programs keep coming up when you investigate an M3 error message. This article is the reference for that.
Which program do you use for what?

| APS050 | Invoice references. Click change on an invoice reference to see where it goes wrong. |
| APS110 | Cancelling or recoding an invoice. |
| APS200 | Looking up posted invoices. Through related options show invoices (CTRL + 11) and then on the APBATC line related options display voucher (CTRL + 12) you can see whether an invoice line has been posted or has remained on the suspense account. |
| APS215 | The transactions on the voucher of a posted invoice. Next step from APS200 when checking the posting. |
| APS370 | Receipt lines. Through CTRL + 12 on a receipt line you check which invoice lines are linked to it. |
| APS450 | The status of an interfaced invoice. Status 90 means successfully validated. |
| APS900 | Settings for permitted differences and rounding. For the interface, sort order 5 is the determining one. |
| GLS037 | Posting errors that have occurred. |

Order in which to look for a posting error
If it is not clear where an invoice has got stuck, work through the programs in this order:
- APS450 - is the invoice on a status other than 90? Then validation went wrong.
- GLS047 - has the posting task got stuck on an error, and which one?
- GLS037 - is there a posting error, and which one?
- APS200 - is the invoice present? If it is, the invoice has been posted and a time-out has occurred.
- APS215 and GLS200 - check whether the voucher of the invoice is correct.
Making errors visible on an invoice
The header of an invoice in APS450 carries an error status, both for the header and for the lines:
- 1 - no errors
- 2 - errors
- 3 - warnings

Info: Open the header or the line using change: M3 then shows the error message. If you open it using display, you will not see those messages.
