A new User can now be created. This page contains three tabs:

- AP Automation Settings
- Procurement settings (these settings are only visible when the module Procurement is active)
The General Settings and AP Automation settings tabs are described and can be found under Other information Setup → Other information Setup → User settings.
Tab Authorization
In this tab the permissions for a user are assigned. Permission groups are split into two types: generic and company-specific. Generic permission groups apply to all company numbers. Company-specific permission groups can only be assigned to specific company codes, making it possible to give the user access to parts of the application for specific company codes in addition to the generic permissions.
First it is determined which generic permissions this user has. On the Company 'All' line, the permission groups that apply to all company codes are selected.
Additional permission groups can then be assigned per company code. So the permissions are, as it were, added up.
In the example above, the user is granted all permissions associated with the permission groups 'basic_user' and 'reader' for all company codes. She receives the permissions of 'account_payable' for company number 1 and the permissions of 'application_owner' for company number 2.
*Only the application owner can change specific user permissions and settings.
