Contract custom fields
In this overview you see all information regarding the currently available custom fields for contracts. Contract custom fields are, as the name suggests, fields that can be freely defined. These fields are then added to new and existing contracts (under Contracts > Contracts > Select contract > Details).
Note: When deleting a custom field, the data in the custom field will be permanently deleted.
When adding or editing a custom field, you can set a number of properties. These properties are explained in the table below.
| Setting | Explanation |
| Sort order | The position of this field in the contract details (E.g. entering '1' makes this field show up at the very top of the contract details) |
| Type | The field type (Checkbox, text, date etc.) |
| Width | The width of the field in pixels. For a checkbox, use 20. For a text field, for a basic text field 300 is recommended. |
| In table | Determines whether the field is visible in the contract products overviews (Contracts > Contract products and the 'Contract products' tab in the contract details). When this option is disabled, the field is only visible in the edit pop-up of the contract products. |
| Max input length | Maximum character input length. Only use this setting if the field type is 'Text' or 'Textarea'. Not required. |
| Min. input length | Minimum character input length. Only use this setting if the field type is 'Text' or 'Textarea'. Not required. |
| Input validation | Enter 'numeric' here to set that only numbers may be entered. |
| Required | When checked, this field will be shown on the insert form for new contracts as a required field. |
Contract financial custom fields
This overview shows the currently available custom fields in the 'Financial' tab under contracts (Contracts > Contracts > Select contract > Details> Financial). Contract custom fields are, as the name implies, fields that can be freely defined. These fields are then added to new and existing contracts.

Contract product custom fields
Contract product custom fields are freely defined fields that you can add to contract products under Contracts > Contracts > Select contract > Details > Contract products. The field is visible when you open the details of a contract product.
